OUR PURPOSE OF WRITING.
We want to join the Nigeria power sector to take full advantage of the abundant availability of renewable energy resources in Nigeria – like the abundance of solar energy radiation from the north down to lower Southern of Nigeria. The Solar cells in an area like Abuja for example, would effectively generate 5000 watts per day per square meter. Which means that 1 square kilometer (1000 meter x 1000 meter area of solar units) can produce about 5000 Megawatts a day.
OUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY.
We do power audit and load analysis comparatively from the peak periods load margin to the off peak performance to see the amount of energy Abuja consumes daily, monthly and in a year. What ever the outcome is, Tesla off-grid and microgrid is the solution for 24hrs uninterrupted power supply.
USING FCT AN AN EXAMPLE.
OFF-GRID.
For example, if Abuja consumes 250MW per hour on the average, 20hrs backup a day would require 5, 000MW Tesla battery-bank. 1, 000 Megawatts solar energy farms could be installed to charge this Tesla Powerpack – battery bank. This could completely take the entire Abuja off the national grid. This installation will only require about 1, 500 acres or less to deploy this solution.
OFF PEAK HOURS CHARGING FOR PEAK PERIOD BACKUP.
Residential Areas PEAK/OFF-PEAK PERIODS GAINS.
Practically for residential areas, peak periods are from 3pm to 8pm, if Abuja is residential areas reaches say 150MW from 3 – 8pm and off-peak periods is 50MW. You may drop national grid supply for that area to 100MW, let the excess energy during the off peak times store into your (400MW Tesla PowerPacks) battery bank, there by saving the cost of 50MW energy per hour for 15 years. This type of installation may not require solar panels at all.
Commercial Areas PEAK/OFF-PEAK PERIODS GAINS.
Similarly, for commercial areas, peak periods are from 8am to 5pm, if Abuja is commercial areas reaches say 250MW from 8am – 5pm and off-peak periods is 50MW. You may drop national grid supply for that area to 150MW, let the excess energy during the off peak times store into your (900MW Tesla POWERPACKS) battery bank, there by saving the cost of 100MW energy per hour for 15 years. This type of installation do not require solar panels also. THESE ARE ONLY EXAMPLES – HOWEVER THEY ARE EFFECTIVE PROTOTYPES.
